We are a global media business specialising in the gaming industry.  We have a publishing arm consisting of a dozen owned websites including, and over 100 network site partners such as  We produce class-leading content for clients via our creative agency team, and work with publishers and advertisers to unlock audience value.  We are based in Bath but are open to taking-on remote employees within the UK too.

The Role

We are looking for an Ad Ops Manager to join our rapidly expanding games media business based in Bath. We specialise in delivering multimedia and multi-platform marketing campaigns for some of the biggest brands in the gaming industry. This is an excellent opportunity for an analytically-minded individual to progress their career in Advertising Operations within a leading digital business in the South West. We are welcoming individuals who can remote-work with us (as long as you are based within the UK) and can provide the equipment necessary to do so.

Joining as an Ad Ops Manager you will be responsible for the interpretation, implementation and optimisation of global marketing campaigns for some of the biggest brands in the gaming industry. You will work with the Head of Ad Ops and directly with global clients and agencies to diagnose problems, provide feedback for improvements, undertake ad-hoc project work, and anything else 

You will be responsible for:

  • Working with the Ad Ops and Campaign Management teams, across display, programmatic, mobile and video

  • Trafficking and forecasting display and video advertising campaigns, and then monitoring live campaigns and optimising for performance and delivery

  • Confidently implementing our QA process, debugging ad tags, ensuring creatives meet our technical specifications and collaborating with clients to resolve related issues

  • Working with the Sales team to manage campaign performance, meet client objectives and provide clients with regular reporting and support 

  • Ensuring that we deliver the best value for clients whilst maximising revenue for the Network, working with the Ad Ops team to define and continuously evolve operations and best practice

  • Maintaining key resources and creating and managing data segmentation using our DMP

  • Ensuring the smooth running, optimisation and overall performance of ad operations and the service that we provide to Sales and our clients

  • Supervising and supporting Ad Ops Executives in day to day duties and assessing workload to ensure departmental standards are maintained

  • Maintaining knowledge and awareness of current programmatic and digital ad tech

  • Working with the Network team to shape inventory and ensure we feed back best practice to our network partners

  • Managing and monitoring our Programmatic Private Deals across various SSPs, working with the appropriate Sales Account Manager to identify potential revenue opportunities

  • Previous demonstrable experience as an Ad Ops Manager or Executive

  • A strong understanding of tools at your disposal to help you manage and optimise campaigns effectively (Eg. GAM, DV360, Avocet, Sizmek, MOAT, Bluekai, Permutive, Google Analytics etc.)

  • A deep understanding of audience segments and cookie based targeting

  • Self-motivated, commercially aware and able to work to tight deadlines

  • A strong attention to detail and highly organised

  • A natural problem solver and solutions oriented

  • Strong interpersonal skills, including communication and team working skills

  • Ability to see through the ‘clutter’ and know the intended end-goal

  • Ability to take insights from data and be technically-minded

  • Good knowledge and competency of Ad Servers

  • Working knowledge of design tools such as Photoshop 

  • A basic understanding of HTML, JavaScript and other programming language

  • Must be able to produce proof of right to work in the UK by the start of employment
